Olivia Vega de Aguirre was born on July 01, 1945. She was a good daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She had many cousins, friends, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles whom she adored. There were many things she enjoyed but the most important was spending time with family. She enjoyed photography both as a hobby and a job, However she gave that up to pursue her heart's desire: marriage to the man she loved and her husband of 42 years, Angel Aguirre. Together they formed their own family which consisted of 3 daughters and blossomed into 9 grandchildren. Having always been a very fashionable woman, she got her degree in Cosmetology and that became the career she loved. Singing, dancing and going to the beach brought her joy, but nothing brought her so much joy as the smiles and hugs of her beloved grandchildren.♥
Olivia is survived by her daughters Rosie Aguirre (Ron Landsmann), Lulu Aguirre (Cesar Ayala) and Mattie Aguirre; her brothers Raymundo Vega and Jose Vega, her sisters Otilia, Ofelia, Obdulia and Odelia; her grandchildren Laischa Flores, Andrew Landsmann, Audrey Landsmann, Cesar Ayala Jr., her David Ayala, Angel Ayala, Ethan Hammond, Brandon Hammond and Gavin Hammond.
Olivia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Angel Andres Aguirre †; her father Genaro Vega † and her mother Rosa Vega †; her brother Genaro Vega Jr. †.
A memorial service for Olivia will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a Chapel Service starting at 2:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
