Palmira G. Salinas

“As sons and daughters, we give thanks to God for blessing us with a loving, caring, compassionate and exemplary mother. We are saddened by her departure but we thank God for her 88 years of life.

Mrs. Salinas is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel A. Salinas; son, Cesar Salinas; parents, Mr. Alfredo and Irene Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Maxine (Calixto) Cardenas of Cleveland, TX, Miguel (Maria) Salinas of Brownsville, TX and Nelinda (Marco A.) Garza of Brownsville,TX; sister, Sulema Garcia; brother, Alfredo Garcia; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 from 12 noon – 9pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A chapel service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10 am at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Albert Capistran, Alex Capistran, Marco A. Garza, Calixto Cardenas, Tony Torres and Ben Torres
