Pedro devoted 30 years of his life to education, serving with distinction as both an educator and a principal. He was a natural leader, known for his high standards, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. A perfectionist by nature, Pedro believed in doing things the right way and inspired countless students and colleagues through his example.
A devoted Christian, Pedro lived his faith daily through kindness, compassion, and service to others. He was gentle, loving, and generous with his time and encouragement, always ready to support those in need.
Pedro was a cherished husband, loving father, devoted son, caring brother, and proud uncle. His family was the heart of his life, and he found his greatest joy in caring for and supporting them.
Outside of his professional life, Pedro enjoyed playing tennis and found relaxation in watching the Cooking Channel. He had a passion for baking, especially making cakes, though he famously guarded his secret recipes—a lighthearted trait that brought smiles and laughter to those closest to him.
Pedro Vidal’s leadership, kindness, and commitment will never be forgotten. His legacy of faith, love, and excellence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Pedro is survived by his wife, Michelle Vidal, his son, Andrew Vidal, and his daughter, Krista Coronado. His is also survived by mother, Andrea Vidal, and his siblings, Rolando Vidal (Cristina), Jesus Vidal (Alejandra), Mario Vidal, Homero Vidal, Eleazar Vidal, Jaime Vidal (Claudia), and Octavio Vidal (Laura), sister in law Irene Vidal, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Trinidad Vidal, and his brother, Javier Vidal.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas, in the Chapel of Angels on January 17, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A religious ceremony will take place on January 17, 2026, starting at 5:00 pm.
