Ramona "Mona" Hernandez, age 69, went to be with Lord peacefully on April 27, 2016 at Valley Regional Medical Center. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their words do follow them" ( Revelation 14:13). Mona Hernandez was a true servant of God. She has faithfully served her family as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, friend and relative. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and committed her life to serving him. She was a courageous woman and was a shear example to others. Mona was an active member of 'Templo Sinai' for 30 plus years and most recently of 'Templo Eben-Ezer Asambleas De Dios'. She dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and to her sons and their families. She was loving and compassionate. She was a great example of a human being and a loyal follower of God's word. She gathered her strength from the authority of God's word. Everything she did was to glorify God.
She has finished her course. She has left a fine example of how to live by her words and her actions. Now she can rest in peace. She has now come to the time for which she lived. This is not the end, but the beginning. Our comfort lies in the truth...."Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."
Her presence was a power inspiration, and her memory also!
Mona is survived by her four sons Saul, Dagoberto, Edwin and Eric Hernandez.
There will be a private burial and funeral for immediate family.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for her and visited her during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.
