Raul Labin Garcia, 63, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 19, 1961, in Brownsville, Raul was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, hardworking provider, and loyal friend.
Raul is survived by his beloved wife, Juana Maria Garcia; his daughters, Cynthia M. Garcia De Leon (Rudy) and Corinna M. Garcia (Ivan Perez); and his cherished grandsons, Anthony Labin and Ivan Perez Jr. He also leaves behind his siblings: Janie Leal (Ruben), Diego Garcia (Gretchen), Tony Garcia (Janet), Frank Garcia (Letty), and Sonny Torres (Mona), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
Raul was a man of great dedication and principle. He took pride in his work and carried an unwavering sense of responsibility to provide for his family. Known for his strong work ethic, Raul never hesitated to lend a hand or offer support where it was needed.
Sundays were sacred to Raul — not just as a day of rest, but as a time for gathering his family together. Whether he was firing up the grill for one of his famous BBQs or cheering on his Dallas Cowboys, Raul found joy in the simple moments shared with the people he loved most. A proud Republican, Raul held firm to his beliefs and lived his life guided by faith, values, and love for country.
Raul’s legacy is one of love, laughter, strength, and unity. His presence was a source of comfort and stability, and he will be remembered for the many lives he touched with his generosity, warmth, and devotion.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
