River James "RJ" Gutierrez

Here for such a short time but our little River has forever carved his way through our hearts and souls. We are eternally grateful to you having graced our lives and further teaching us the true meaning of unconditional love.

RJ is survived by his dad Israel "Riley" Gutierrez Jr. and his mom Melinda"Mimi" Gutierrez; his grandmother Carolina Cavazos, his grandfather Ricardo Romero, his grandmother Margarita Garcia, his grandfather Mario Garcia, his uncle Joey Gutierrez, his uncle Eric Cavazos, his uncle Mario Garcia and his aunt Monica Garcia.

RJ is also survived by the entire Cavazos, Gutierrez, Villarreal, and Garcia families.

RJ was preceded in death by his grandfather Israel "Rocky" Gutierrez †, his aunt Faustina "China" Marrero †, his great grandmother Margarita Villarreal †, his great grandmother Maria Cavazos †, his uncle Raymond Villarreal †, and his great grandmother Ninfa Garcia †.

A visitation for RJ will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526, with a chapel service to be held at 2:00 PM, followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526.
