He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cox and Doris May Johnson.
He is survived by wife Rosalinda Cox, with children; Daniel, Eric and Antonio; former spouse, Sandra Kingsbury with children; Linda, Robert and Natalie; his brother, Mark from Maryland, sisters; Joan and Susan from Florida, grandchildren; Jayme Ramirez, Nichole Ramirez, Priscilla Ramirez and Joey Ramirez Jr. of San Antonio, Ethan Cox, Ian Cox and Alyssa Cox of New Braunfels, Jacob Garcia of Brownsville.
Visitation was held from 2:30 pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
He worked for over twenty two years for Oil Patch Fuel & Supply, Inc. He enjoyed spending time with his family, telling jokes and giving advice. His passion was bargain hunting, grilling and playing with his dog, Lula. He also loved traveling to Mexico, riding motor cycles and watching classic TV shows like “All in the Family”. He became very active in his church Centro Christiano Shama (Shama Christian Center).
