He was born in Uruapan, Michoacan. He was preceded in death by his parents Emilio and Elvira Olvera, his oldest sister Guadalupe O. Zendejas and youngest brother Miguel Olvera and grandbaby Angel Olvera.
He was a minister of CLADIC for over 30 years and pastored 6 different churches in Texas. He will always be remembered as the "Cocinero de las Convenciones", which was his other joy to cook for all the "Hnos". He loved God, his family and Church family.
Survived by wife Hilaria M. Olvera, daughter Claudia Olvera (John), daughter Erica Olvera. Grandchildren: Maya Misty, Natalia Liza, John Luke, and Eli Logan. Siblings: Esperanza Gomez (Manuel), Eliseo Olvera (Delia +), Rodolfo Olvera (Hortencia), and Angela Olvera. Several nephews and nieces and extended family.
He will be truly missed, but we know now that he rests in the presence of the Lord and is no longer in pain.
Until we meet again on the other side and walk together on the "Streets of Gold" with our Lord.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1pm to 9pm with a Prayer service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service to be held on Monday March, 8, 2021 at 11am at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
