Rodolfo Treviño entered eternal rest on June 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a man of honor, integrity, and quiet strength who lived his life rooted in his word and guided by a deep love and unwavering commitment to his family.
Rodolfo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who led his family through strong values, discipline, and example. He sacrificed tirelessly to provide for those he loved, ensuring they were cared for in every way possible. To his grandchildren, he was a steady and loving presence—supportive, attentive, and always there for the moments that mattered most.
He also possessed a quiet generosity and a sincere concern for others. Thoughtful in ways that often went unseen, Rodolfo was always looking for opportunities to help those around him. He faithfully visited the sick, offered comfort to those facing difficult times, and never hesitated to lend a helping hand when someone was in need. His compassion, kindness, and willingness to serve others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Rodolfo carried a deep lifelong respect and love for martial arts, a discipline that shaped his character and outlook on life. The principles of respect, perseverance, humility, and self-control remained central to who he was, guiding him through challenges and strengthening the quiet discipline he lived by every day.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Treviño; his daughters, Melinda Aguirre (Samuel), Roxie Treviño (Stephanie), and Ana Laura Cisneros (Cristobal); his grandchildren, Camila Cisneros, Arya Aguirre, Cristóbal Cisneros III, Elidy Aguirre, Joaquín Rodolfo Cisneros, and Isabella Marie Treviño; his brother, Rolando Treviño; his sister, Margarita Treviño; his brother, Ruben Valdez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who loved him deeply.
Rodolfo is preceded in death by his son, Rodolfo "Rudy" Treviño Jr.; his mother, Aide Valdez †; and his grandson, Baby Cris †.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521, on June 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:oopm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Dr, Brownsville, Texas 78521, on June 27, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Interment will be held at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521, on June 27, 2026, at 11:30 am.
