Romanita Villegas

Romanita Villegas passed on August 1, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on July 22, 1981, she will be lovingly remembered as a gentle, kindhearted woman who found happiness in life’s simple moments and cherished the people she loved most.

Romanita had a beautiful way of finding joy in the things that mattered most. She enjoyed reading books, shopping, and especially cooking meals that brought her family together. For her, the kitchen was more than a place to prepare food—it was a place where love was shared, conversations were enjoyed, and precious family memories were created.

Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her loved ones. She treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by family, creating special moments that will be remembered and cherished for generations to come. Her immense love for her family was evident in everything she did, always putting those she cared for close to her heart.

Romanita also had a special place in her heart for dogs and showed kindness and compassion to every life she touched. Gentle, sweet-spoken, and endlessly caring, she had a warmth that made others feel loved and welcomed. Her generosity and tender spirit were a reflection of the beautiful person she was.

Romanita leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family. Although her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the love she gave so freely, and the lessons of compassion she shared will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, reminding them to cherish family, appreciate life’s simple moments, and always lead with love.

Romanita is survived by her mother, Gregoria Villegas, and her sons, Alexis Villegas and Yahir Villegas.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, US, on August 10, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
