Rosenda Plata

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rosie was a loving sister and aunt that was selfless and devoted to her family. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Her legacy will be carried on by those that loved her dearly.

Rosenda is survived by her siblings: Nestor Plata, Olivia Plata, Pilar Plata, Dominga Plata, Gregorio Plata, Norberto Plata, Alicia Baldazo, Evangelina Cerbin, Margarita Torres (Aroldo Torres), Sylvia Plata, Maria Elena Mata, Veronica Medina, SanJuana Medina and Olga Plata.

Rosenda was preceded in death by her parents: Rosendo Plata † and Margarita Plata †; her brother: Jose Rosendo Plata †.

A visitation for Rosenda will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1055 Military Road, Brownsville, TX. A burial will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.

Serving as pallbearers are: Gregorio Plata, Norberto Plata, Armando Gomez Jr., Adrian Maldonado and Marc Plata.
