Sgt. Jesus Jaime Torres, age 67, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Sgt. Jesus was born September 6, 1953 to Irene G. Vera and Juan Torres (†).

Sgt. Jesus was preceded in death by son Jose Julian Torres (†); father Juan Torres (†); brother Jesus Vera Jr. (†).

Sgt. Jesus is survived by his wife, Guadalupe R. Torres; daughter Vanessa Torres; son Joel Torres; son Marc Torres; and son Jesus Jaime Torres Jr.; mother Irene G. Vera; sister Evangelina Torres, sister Herlinda Torres, sister Irene V. Gonzalez, sister Lina Emerson and brother Jacob Vera.

A visitation for Sgt. Jesus will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Miltary honors will occur Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM and a rosary and chapel service will occur Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
