Soledad M. Hernandez

Her long life was a blessing to all of us that knew her. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Soledad worked many years at Booth Fisheries and later on she, her husband and sons opened a clothing shop in the downtown area. She was an excellent seamstress that designed clothing including wedding dresses for her daughters.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Joaquin L. Hernandez, mother: Elena P. Garcia, brothers: Teodoro Meza, Ricardo Meza and son-in-law: Jose Rodriguez.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memories are her 6 children: Ignacio (Gerija) Hernandez, Carmen (Jose Ruben) Rosas, Nora (William) Estrada, Jorge Hernandez, Margarita Rodriguez and Maria Elena (Jose Luis ) Hernandez, 3 siblings: Maria de la Luz Miller, Lazaro (Gloria) Meza and Consuelo Guajardo, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 12pm - 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by committal service to Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as her Pallbearers are: Jorge L. Hernandez, Ignacio Hernandez, Ruben Rosas Jr., Rene Rosas, Issac Rodriguez and Jose Luis Hernandez.
