Sonia was preceded in death by her mother, Angelina Aguilar, and her father, Reymundo Cervantes. She is survived by her husband, Jorge Luis De Anda; her son, Jorge Alberto De Anda; her brother-in-law, Victor De Anda Jr; her father-in-law, Victor De Anda; her sister-in-law, Lilia Laura Cabrera; and her mother-in-law, Evangelina De Anda.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on May 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be held there on May 21, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2255 Southmost Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on May 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 785269618, on May 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
