Sylvia was born on July 26, 1956 in Brownsville, Texas to parents Santiago Ybarra and Maria Esperanza Solis. Being the middle child she always considered herself to be “the best part of the sandwich” After graduating she quickly started her family and had her first daughter. She then decided to move to Dallas but always held a special part of her heart here in the valley. Soon after she had her second daughter. After many years in Dallas, She moved to New Braunfels and lived quite happily. The decision to move back to the Dallas area changed her life once again, but this time she was reborn. Moving back to the Valley, Regaining her health, her strength, and her will was a challenge, but she was a fighter and pulled through. Her everlasting devotion to God and to her family and friends is what kept her strong. Her kindness and generosity was felt by many and that’s what made her special. Her attention to detail, her devotion to making others happy and the love that radiated from her was felt by many. She never once complained about her life, she thanked God everyday for the blessings he had given her. Her loss is deeply felt, but we know she is no longer suffering and as walking hand in hand with the lord watching over us.
