Vanessa will be remembered as a beautiful and loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, and aunt whose presence brought love and happiness to those fortunate enough to know her.
From the moment she was born, Vanessa was deeply loved. She had a beautiful spirit and a loving heart that made her incredibly special to her family. Her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her will forever remain a treasured part of their lives.
Vanessa found joy in the things that reflected her sweet and unique personality. She loved Sailor Moon, and her favorite color was lilac, a soft and beautiful color that will forever bring memories of her to those who loved her.
Above everything, Vanessa treasured her family. As a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt, she held a special place in the hearts of so many. The memories created with her, the love she gave, and the beautiful person she was will never be forgotten.
Though words can never fully express how deeply Vanessa will be missed, her family will carry her memory with them always. Her beautiful spirit will continue to live on through everyone whose life she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Jorge Encinia; her sons, Jorge Ezekiel Encinia and Elijah Encinia; her daughters, Esmeralda A. Encinia and Estela A. Encinia; her mother, Margarita Hernandez; her father, Hector M. Hernandez; her brother, Hector M. Hernandez Jr.; her nephew, Jovanni Hernandez; and her grandmothers, Petra De Leon and Zeneida Godinez. Vanessa will also be dearly missed by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who loved her deeply and will forever cherish the beautiful memories they shared with her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Mario Godinez and Humberto Hernandez, and her uncle, Humberto Hernandez Jr.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service taking place at 6:00 p.m.
A Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521, at 1:00 p.m.
