Mr. Cortez is preceded in death by his parents, Piquinto Cortez and Carmen Arceo.
Victor is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Susana N. Cortez; children, Rosa Amparo (Anastacio) Guitron, Jose Fernando (Hilda) Cortez, Victor (Estela) Cortez Jr., Hermelinda (Joe) Garcia, and Juanita (Patricio) Garza; and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church (2308 E. Tyler), followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
