Yolanda dedicated 25 years of her life working as a teacher's aide for adults with special needs. She was a deeply devoted, Godly woman who found great comfort and joy in reading her Bible. Known for her pure and peaceful heart, she was a true prayer warrior and the person her family and friends relied on most for spiritual support. Yolanda's greatest passion was her family, and she truly was the world's best mother and grandmother. As a mother, she was a constant source of unconditional love, gentle wisdom, and unwavering encouragement. She created a home filled with warmth and served as a beautiful guiding light, always leading her family by example with endless grace and patience.
Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own home, as she generously stepped in to help raise a dozen of her nieces and nephews, loving and guiding them as if they were her own. Her
absolute favorite moments in life were those spent simply being present with her family and watching her beloved grandchildren grow.
Her beautiful legacy of faith and love will live on through the family she leaves behind.
Yolanda is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Carlos Mascorro, and her three cherished grandchildren, Charlie, Jeremiah, and Mia Mascorro. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie G. Guartuche and Anna May Oviedo, her brother, Jose Garza, and a host of extended family members who will miss her deeply.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Yolanda's life:
