Zoila C. Almaguer, 89, entered into eternal rest on December 23, 2017, is preceded in death by parents Carlos Cortez and Maria M. Cortez, husband Lisandro Almaguer, son Lisandro Almaguer Jr. and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Is survived by her children: Hilda (Gabriel) Garcia, Sylvia (Guadalupe) Esparza, Zulema (Eusebio) Arellano, Maria Elena (Jose Angel) Vela, Alejandro (Alice) Almaguer, Jose Luis (Terry) Almaguer, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren, sister Maria LuisaC. Mendez and brother Uvaldo Cortez. Pallbearers will be Alejandro Almaguer Jr., Armando Almaguer, Jose Luis Almaguer Jr. Joaquin Almaguer, Eloy Arellano, Cipriano Arellano III, Eusebio Arellano Jr. Joe Vela Jr, Jaime Vela and Jeffrey Vela. Visitation will be held December 27, 2017 from 10am to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Mass will be celebrated December 28, 2017 at 10am at Our Heavenly Father Church in Olmito Texas with a committal service to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
