

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Evangelical Free Church in College Station with Rev. Rudy Junek and Pastor John Gantt officiating. Interment will follow at Snook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Albert was born August 10, 1937 at his home in Snook the son of Ed George and Mary Frances (Adamek) Macik. He was a charter member of Hope Evangelical Free Church and a member of SPJST #39 in Bryan. Albert retired after 31 years with Texas Agricultural Experiment Station at Texas A&M University. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking pictures of family and friends. Albert was a very friendly person, always greeting everyone he came into contact with “Hi!”
Albert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annalyn Macik; sisters, Patricia Matcek and Frances Storemski; grandchildren, Matthew and Heather Macik.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Albert Edward and Terri Macik of Bryan, Adam Joe and Rebecca Macik of College Station; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Denise Macik of Bryan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Kenneth Jeske of Caldwell, Rosie and Roy Kehlenbrink of Kurten; granddaughter, Amber Macik of Bryan; and step-mother, Floy Wilkerson of Bryan; and numerous extended family members and friends.
