Alfonso Romero, Jr.

Jr. was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Jr. was born on December 7, 1966 in Hearne, Tx to Alfonso and Maria. He grew up in Mumford Tx alongside his parents and siblings, there he attended school and afterwards he loved joining his dad and brothers in the cotton fields watching them work on farm equipment or simply running around on the farm. They later moved to Bryan TX, where he attended and completed Bryan High School.

If you had the honor to be in Jr.'s presence you would know that we were given the gift of life. Jr. had an energy like no other there was no grey areas with him and he would let you know if he like it or he didn’t. Jr. would rename everyone and the name he gave you is what you went by to him. Jr. was a devoted Texas Aggie fan and would not tolerate anything about the longhorns. His hobbies included playing with his action figures and dominos, loved watching wrestling, walking dead and the Aggies. Jr. was a free spirit had special bonds with all his family, but the one who would get him worked up was his brother Tonio they had the true meaning of a loving brother relationship. Jr. was a beautiful rare soul and I am grateful that God gave us his best son for us to cherish.

Jr. is survived by his Father of 86 years Alfonse Romero Sr.; Sister Diana and husband Gumaro Munoz; Brother Juan Antonio and wife Patricia Romero; Brother Juan M Gayton; Brother J.J Gustavo and wife Elisa Romero. as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews extended family members and friends.

Alfonso Romero Jr. was preceded by his mom, Maria E Romero; sister, Nora E Romero.

A visitation for Alfonso will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 South College Avenue, Bryan, Texas 77801. A recitation of holy rosary will occur Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 1515 South College Avenue, Bryan, Texas 77801. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, January 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 600 E 26th St, Bryan, Texas 77803. An interment will occur Friday, January 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery, 5103 N Texas Ave, Bryan, Texas 77803.
