Ben L. "Benny" Bomnskie Jr.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Benny was born January 6, 1944 in Brazos County, Texas the son of Ben Sr. and Albina (Paholek) Bomnskie. He was the President and co-owner of Central Electrical Supply in Bryan for 41 years. Benny enjoyed their family place on the river and watching his cattle. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents, Ben Sr. and Albina Bomnskie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Gladys Shirley; and a nephew, Kirby Matthews.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Bomnskie; son, Ricky W. Bomnskie; daughter, Sandy Bomnskie; son, Steven Bomnskie; sister, Margaret Bomnskie; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bridget and Gary Sebesta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Greg "Butch" and Linda Shirley; grandchildren, Cassey McKay and husband Jamie, Cody Morrison, Justin Bomnskie and wife Brie, Jessica Rosprim, Ricky L. Bomnskie and fiance Taylor Leonard, Dustin Bomnskie and Westin Bomnskie; great-grandchildren, Bryce McKay, Carsyn Morrison, Landon Bomnskie, J.J. Rosprim, Brynlee "Little Bit" McKay, Casyn Rosprim, Alex McKay, and two more on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
