

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Betty was born August 21, 1951 in Bryan the daughter of Joe Jr. and Laudencia (Reyes) Hernandez. She loved being outside watering the grass and tending to her beautiful array of seasonal flowers, she loved sitting on the back porch listening to music. Betty enjoyed watching Aggie football and was always ready for a good BBQ or fried catfish meal with the family; and especially Sunday lunches with her brother “Lupe”.
Mom loved long drives in the country getting lost with dad and stopping at local places to eat and relax.
She enjoyed going to all the Seasonal Festivals around the area and also attending Good Friday’s here in Bryan. Mom loved her family so much and was always willing to help in anyway she could, if you were hungry she fed you, you needed a shoulder to cry on she was there, if she had the means and she was able she would make it happen. Most knew her as Betty, if you were close to her you called her “Mom”.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Laudencia Hernandez; husband, Pablo “Paul” Reyna; brothers, Manuel John, Joe, Eligo and Frank Hernandez; sisters, Louise Estrada, Francis Garcia and Mary Hernandez.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Jennifer Reyna, Paul Reyna III; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Paul Flores; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe and Judy Hernandez, Lupe Hernandez; sister and brother-in-law, Josie and Ramon Rosario; grandchildren, Anthony Ontiveros, Paul and Valerie Reyna, Jordan and Mackenzie Reyna, Amber and Christopher Reyna; great-grandchildren, Damian, Julian, Mia, Benjamin, Vanessa, Sofia, Paul V and Avianna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
