

Bill attended Denton High School. Bill was a mechanic and a business owner of a TV repair shop. He was also employed by Texas A&M University from February 1954 until his retirement. Bill was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed spending his free time pursuing this hobby. He worshipped at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, John Campbell Ray, his mother, Mildred Duer Ray, his sister, Mary Margaret Ray Wolters, his brother-in-law, Freddy Wolters, and his brother, John Thomas Ray.
Bill is survived by his wife of 73 years, Edith Ray, his sons, Larry Ray Sr. and Bert Ray, daughters-in-law Cathy Johnson Ray and Joy Delalina Ray, and his grandsons, Larry Jr. and Josh Ray, his granddaughters, Miranda and Breianne Ray, his granddaughter-in-law, Emily Ray, and his great-grandchildren, Hannah Ray, Kendall Ray, and Reilly Ray.
A private service will be held for the family.
