Bobby Joe Rhodes

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 3 at Central Baptist Church. Private interment will follow service. Visitation will be held from 5- 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.

Bobby was born March 9, 1935 in Kerr County the son of Charles Edward and Nina (Martin) Rhodes. He was employed with Binford Insect Control in Bryan and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 38 years, Barbara Moody Rhodes; and his nephew, Bobby Duane Rhodes.

He is survived by his children, Renea Karr and husband Greg of Spring, Troy Rhodes of Bryan and Rochelle Rhodes of Bryan; brother, Charlie Rhodes and wife Wanda of North Zulch; sisters, Martha Raybon, Nina Ruth “Pookey” Crane and husband Stan all of Navasota; sister-in-law, Lorraine Moody McLain of Willis; brother-in-law, Dwight Moody of Navasota; grandchildren, Ryan Rhodes, Bailey Harris and Caleb Karr; close friend, Faye Cruse; and numerous other family and friends.
