

Carl has been in the car business most of his adult life and managed his small cattle operation since the early 80s. He found the most happiness, comfort and pride in his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Sam Ruffino and Mary Jamail Ruffino and his sister Marilyn Dugan .
He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of 47 years Paulette Ruffino, his daughter Annette Loehr (Darren), Shelby Lyne and husband Tom, his grandchildren Gavin Taylor (Cami), Trevor Taylor (McCalley), Dailee Loehr, Quinton Lyne, Thatcher Lyne and his sister Francene Shipman and husband David along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 S. College Ave., Bryan, TX, on Tuesday, August 5th from 5 to 6:30 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:30PM. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 6th at 10 AM, with Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Carl’s pallbearers will include, Gavin Taylor, Trevor Taylor, Tom Lyne, Quinton Lyne, Thatcher Lyne, and David Shipman, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Torres, and Brock Johnston.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospital, the physicians, and nursing staff for Carl’s long-term love, care and family support.
