Carlos Rodriguez Medina Sr.

Carlos R. Medina, Sr., 70, of Bryan, Texas, passed away Wednesday evening December 4, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2013 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with a Rosary being recited at 7 P.M. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 A.M. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan with Father Efrain Villanueva officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Carlos was born November 4, 1943 in Tunis, Texas to Alfredo and Patricia Rodriguez Medina. He was a retired Commercial Construction Superintendent and was a member of the Catholic Faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife Delores Medina; two brothers Rudy Medina, Sr. and Raymond Medina; and a grandson, Rudy Cantu, Jr.

He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Carlos Medina, Jr. and wife Sally of Bryan, Fred and Angeline Medina of College Station, Robbie and Renee Medina of Bryan, Joe Medina of Houston, and Eric Medina of Millican; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Irma and Lupe Pineda of Bryan, Brenda and Rudy Cantu, Patti and Frank Compean, and Debi Zarate, all of Rosenberg, TX; one sister, Lucy Sanchez and her husband Pablo of Chula Vista, CA; twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to a church or charity of choice.
