Charles William Keil

Visitation will be held on September 13 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on September 14 at 10:30 am at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Born January 1, 1967 the son of Kenneth and Cynthia Keil. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know him.

Throughout his life, Charles carried himself with steady honesty and a quiet, kind-hearted way of being that put others at ease. He was deeply beloved, not for grand displays, but for the dependable presence he offered—showing up, following through, and treating people with straightforward decency. He will be remembered for the goodness he carried into everyday life—hard-working in all he undertook, honest in word and deed, and kind-hearted in the ways that mattered most. His memory will remain a lasting comfort and a steady example to those who loved him.

Charles graduated from ITT Technical School and built a long, admirable career defined by diligence and commitment. He was employed with Tellabs for 18 years, then working for NOV for 26 years—years that reflected not only his strong work ethic, but also the pride he took in doing things well and doing them right.

Outside of work, Charles found genuine joy in the things that brought people together. He was a member of GTACC Car Club in Georgetown, Texas, he had a love for cars, owning many classics. He enjoyed car shows and car cruises with groups, where his appreciation for craftsmanship and community could be shared in easy conversation and common interest. He also loved traveling, especially to Lake Tahoe, and he enjoyed classic 70's rock music—simple pleasures that stayed close to his heart.

Charles will be remembered for the goodness he carried into everyday life—hard-working in all he undertook, honest in word and deed, and kind-hearted in the ways that mattered most. His memory will remain a lasting comfort and a steady example to those who loved him.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Keil; and father-in-law, Robert Valadez Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Keil; son and daughter-in-law, Jadon and Haylee Keil; granddaughter, Anastasia Keil; father, Kenneth Keil; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tamara and Chris Deas, Shannon and Matt Phillips; mother-in-law, Sophie Valadez; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert Jr. and Christina Valadez and numerous nieces and nephews.
