Connie was born August 5, 1949 in Richton, Mississippi, the daughter of Otis and Olga Beatrice (Kishing) Slaughter. She married Louis Lane on July 24, 2000. Connie was a member of Cavitt Church of Christ.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Olga Beatrice (Kishing) Slaughter, her sister, Donna Sue Slaughter; and her close friend and sister of the heart, Georgia Ann Cooper.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Louis Lane; son, Jacob John Lane; and a close friend, Johnny Cooper.
