

David Lee White, 84, of College Station, Texas, passed away surrounded by family on May 19, 2026. Born on February 10, 1942, in Crystal City, Texas, David lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family, his craft, and his passions.
David proudly served in the Army National Guard for four years, demonstrating his commitment to his country. Following his service, he pursued a career as a carpenter specializing in home construction. His roots were in Carrizo Springs, Texas where he
worked for over 30 years. His hard work and dedication were evident in every project he undertook, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship that will endure for generations.
In addition to being a devoted family man and skilled craftsman, David had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He was an avid coin collector and an expert at barbecuing, who also had a love for dogs
and was often known as a “dog whisperer”. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family—especially his grandchildren—creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Audrey White; his beloved wife Rita; his son Robert; his daughter Amanda; and his grandson Brian.
David was married to the love of his life, Rita White, for over 56 years until her passing.Together they built a life centered on love and opened their home to many family members throughout the years. He leaves behind his sister Barbara Waggy, brother
Randy White, three sons and one daughter: Gary (Norma), Daryl (Angelia), Cheryl (Reiley) Street, and Timothy (Melissa). He was also a proud Pa David to Brandon, Amanda, Cameron, Faith, Samantha, and Finley; as well as three great-grandchildren:
Bentlee, Birkli and Beckem. He also leaves behind his little western-watchin’ buddy B, who was known as his lap dog and best friend.
David’s life was defined by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral chapel on May, 25, 2026 from 5-8pm.
Funeral Services will be held on May 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home 1515 South College, Bryan, Texas. Burial to follow at Restever Memorial Park Cemetery.
