Diana Beth Meyer

Family to receive friends at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan on October 31, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Meyer; her parents, Felix “Jack” and Nola Jones; her brother and sister in law, Wayne and Donna Jones; her daughter in law, Kathryn Barrier; and her grandson, Robert Moses III.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah McCarroll, and son in law, Cary McCarroll; her son, Tracy Barrier, and daughter in law, Angelica Barrier; her son, Billy Barrier, and his girlfriend, JoAnn Henderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew Mendez, Dustin Pacheco, Darren Pacheco, Scott Johnson, and Christina Cox.

Additional survivors include sisters in law Wilma Brethouwer, Lois Groathouse, Irene Dietrick, and Marge Meyer; her brothers in law, Ralph Meyer and John Groathouse; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Diana found joy in playing Rummikub, Skip Bo, and dominoes, and watching the birds gather at her feeder. She worked at Texas A&M University for 20 years, and previously at H&R Block, Nancy’s Drive In, Gibsons, and as an Avon Lady.

Diana’s family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Broadmoor Court Assisted Living and Bluebonnet Hospice for their care and compassion.
