Domingo Paul Castillo, 66, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9th at his home with his family by his side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, January 11th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Domingo was born January 20, 1952 in Cameron, TX; the son of Jessie Sr. Castillo and Marcelina Gutierrez. He worked hard all of his life, retiring at the age of 62 from Sanderson Farms. Domingo was a great provider, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an outdoor man, that enjoyed fishing and bar-be-queing with his family. Domingo loved his many animals and talking about all kinds of sports. He devoted his life to God & he was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his wife and family.

Domingo is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jessie Castillo Jr.; and a son, Timothy Castillo.

He is survived by his wife, Katharine Castillo; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula Castillo, Sylvia and Joe Gongora, Amanda and Jesse Medina; sons and daughters-in-law, Domingo Jr. and Andrea Castillo, Phillip and Shannon Castillo, James and Ericka Martinez, Mario and Holly Martinez, Adrian and Kayla Martinez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maria and Baltazar Ponce, Frances and Gilberto Gonzalez, and Dolores Gonzalez; twenty-seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Biography

Domingo Paul Castillo, 66, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9th at his home with his family by his side.
