

Donna Kay Ince passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 28, 2026 in College Station Texas at the Age of 79. Born in Corpus Christi Texas on September 23, 1946 to Newell L. Ince and Wanda Kelsey Ince, Donna was the smaller of twin girls born very prematurely. Her sister Denise Fay Ince did not survive, but Donna demonstrated early on that she was a fighter and had a strong will to live. She faced many health challenges in her first couple of years but managed to overcome these obstacles and enjoy a happy childhood.
She began school in San Saba Texas and later moved with her family to Bryan Texas where shecompleted her schooling, graduating from Stephen F Austin High School in Bryan, as well as McKenzieBaldwin Business College before beginning a 31-year career with the Texas A&M Extension Service of which she was very proud.
Donna was preceded in death by her twin sister, her parents, her step-father Dr. G.A. Smith, and her brother-in-law Gailord White.
She is survived by her sister Sandy White, nephews Bill White and wife Ginger, Mike White and wife Trisha, as well as a host of great-neices and nephews, and 4 great greatneices and nephews.
Donna lived a quiet life and was very soft spoken. She greatly enjoyed cooking and researching the genealogy of her family. She compiled a very thorough record of her family history to be passed down for younger generations to learn of their ancestors.
The family would like to give a special thank you for the dedication and support of the caregivers at Bluebonnet Court in College Station, where Donna resided for the last 5 years and also to the nurses with Hospice Brazos Valley who also cared for her in the last weeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, or the charitable organization of your choice, in Donna Ince’s name.
Visitation will be on Sunday May 31st from 5-7 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 S. College Avenue in Bryan Texas. There will be a private graveside service and burial.
