Dorothy Marie Milberger

Dorothy grew up in Franklin, Texas and graduated from High School in 1960. Dorothy worked for General Telephone Company in her early years and later became a Realtor for Coldwell Bankers. She lived in Houston where her and her husband, Lionel raised their two sons Johnny and Billy.

After retirement Dorothy and Lionel moved back to Franklin, built a home and enjoyed the quiet country living for several years.

Dorothy was living in Bryan, Texas at the time of her passing. She loved spending time with family and friends. Anytime she got a chance she would get a brisket cooked on the pit and share it with family and friends.

Dorothy was a devoted member of Henry Prairie Baptist Church for 74 years. Her faith in Jesus Christ was strong. She later joined Northern Baptist Church about a year ago. She was really enjoying getting to meet new people.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lionel Milberger, sons Billy & Johnny Milberger, Sister and Brother-in-law Marilyn & Billy Plagens, Brother Wayne Brooks and Brother Bobby Brooks. Dad and mother, Clifton & Dorothy Brooks and Grandmother Bernice Forson.

Dorothy’s family was a tremendous source of love and happiness throughout her life. Dorothy is survived by Sister Jean Baker and Howard Monroe, sister Nelda and William McClure, granddaughter Amy Milberger, Tiffany Milberger and Lena Milberger. Special sister-in-law Patricia Brooks. Several nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply loved, dearly missed, and forever remembered.
