Edna Mae Stone

Visitation will be from 5:30 – 7:30 pm Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 5 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Edna was born January 2, 1937 in Bryan. She retired after many dedicated years from Kroger as Department Head Manager. Edna loved all her grandchildren unconditionally, she enjoyed taking them all to Matagorda Bay in her GMC Jimmy where everyone would pile in.

She liked playing card games, reading, working on puzzles and dancing. Edna loved to travel, going to Hawaii and “Girls Trips” were her favorites.

Edna is preceded in death by father, James Kubichek; mother, Annie Mae Ryan; husband, Richard Stone Jr.; son, Ricky Stone; daughter, Linda Stone; sister, Jimmie “Sissy” Jurischk; brothers, Robert and Billy Kubichek; two great-grandchildren, Robert Branham and Shaunna Coleman.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Brenda Stone, Billy Stone and David Stone; brother, David “Butch” Walker; sisters and brother-in-law, Deborah Jameson, Karen and Billy Morsko; grandchildren, Valorie, Sheila, Richard John, Melissa, Rebecca, Nicole, Crystal, Brandon, Tony, Jared, Lisa, Ricky, Blake, Kalen, Jessica and Sara; numerous great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
