Felix Lopez

Felix Lopez, 82, passed away on September 27, 2018 surrounded by family at his home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday September 30th with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 1st at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Steve Sauser as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.

Felix was born July 29, 1936 in Franklin, Texas, the son of Jose and Ignacia Lopez and was raised in Brazos County. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, who dearly loved all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Felix was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby G. Lopez; his daughter Sylvia Lopez Flores, three brothers Candelario Lopez, Angel Lopez, Jose Lopez; and his sister Helena G. Garcia.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Maria L.; children, Melinda L. Garcia, Diane Lopez, Felix Lopez, Jr., Leticia Lopez, Sonia Lopez, Maria Guadalupe Lopez; twenty-two (22) grandchildren, thirty-seven (37) great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Lopez, Doroteo Lopez; five sisters, Mary Quintero, Lupe Garcia, Irene Arevalo, Hilda Lopez and Margarita Lopez.
