

Frank Reina, 85, of Bryan passed away July 17, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 19, 2010 with a Rosary to start at 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Rev. Patrick Ebner as celebrant and Rev. Msgr. John Malinowski as co-celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Reina was born August 14, 1924 in Bryan, TX the son of Tony and Frances Stabler Reina. Frank was most remembered as a route salesman for Barnett Fried Pies and as a leather worker at Court’s Saddlery. He was a well known and respected horseman, founding member of the Bryan Saddle Club and a former member of the Brazos County Auxiliary Sherriff’s Department Mounted Posse.
Mr. Reina was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis; and his brother & sister-in-law, Ben & Louise Reina.
Survivors include his children; Ann Putz & her husband Eddie of Bryan, Jane Reina & Andy Dalton of Del Valle, TX, Larry Reina & his wife Bonnie of Navasota, Tommy Reina & his wife Rhonda of College Station; special friend and companion, Elenora Riley of Somerville; grandchildren, Shelley Putz Bailey & Rick of Bryan, Trip Putz of Bryan, Jennifer Farr of Austin, Ariane Chamberlin of Orlando, FL, Caleb & Jessica Reina of Bryan; great grandchildren, Cameron Bailey of Bryan, Yolanda Jane Ramirez of Austin, Aiden Chamberlin and Danny Chamberlin, both of Orlando, FL; brother, Joe Reina & his wife Mary Ann of Bryan; sister-in-law, Ruby Lee Martin of Midway, TX; brother-in-law; Homer Pence & his wife Tia of El Paso; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
