Gary loved God, his family, his puppy dogs, outdoor adventures, hunting, fishing, boating, camping and 4 wheeling. He was a die-hard Green Bay Packers and Elvis Presley fan. Gary was known for having a big heart with a contagious laugh that had a touch of sarcasm. Gary was well loved by many.
He worked at General Motors, Chalet Cheese Factory, Lugano Cheese Factory, Triumph Twist Drill, and Goodman Manufacturing. He was a proud member of the Blackjack Volunteer Fire Department in Hearne, TX, Pine Lake Fire Department in Rhinelander, Wis., US Coast Guard Veteran, FEMA task force, Boy Scout leader in Rhinelander and Monroe, Wis. and National Guard Veteran. He was a foster parent to over 99 children. Gary was a member of College Heights Assemblies of God in Bryan, Tx and later a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Hearne, Tx.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and siblings William (Bill) Arn, Lillian Arn, Lary Arn and Shirley Williams.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Arn of Bryan, Tx. Children Lori (Mike) Scott of Monroe, Wis., Aron Arn Monroe of Wis. Stepchildren Eric (Laleh) Pink of Spring, TX, Charlene (Joe) Pink Dufresne
Sparks of NV. Brother in law Tony Williams of Siloam Springs, Ak, Sister in law Suzie Arn of Antigo of Wis. Grandchildren Matt, Scott and Trevor Arn. Mckyle Pink, Arselan Enlezar Kher, Jesse and Ariel Parker. 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 20, 2026, 10:30am at Bethany Baptist Church, 9250 FM-391, Hearne, TX 77859. A meal will follow the service.
