
George pursued higher education and earned a Master's degree in engineering. He went on to have a very successful career in infrastructure engineering at Brown & Root Industrial. His professional journey was marked by his commitment and expertise in the field.
In 1966, George joined the Army, where he became a decorated marksman. His military service was a testament to his dedication to our country.
George met the love of his life, Karin, and devoted himself wholeheartedly to her. They shared 58 years of marriage, during which they welcomed their daughter, Madalyn Ard, in 1977. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. George was truly the ROCK for his wife and daughter.
In his free time, George enjoyed saltwater fishing in Rockport, Texas, and being in nature. These activities brought him great joy and relaxation.
George is survived by his loving wife Karin Ard, daughter Madalyn Ard, and many family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Georgia Ard.
George will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and career man. His legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him. He resided in Bryan, Texas, where he was a respected member of the community.
