Gerald Nobles

Gerald Nobles was born June 28, 1938 in Navasota, Texas to Floyd & Effie Nobles. After marrying his sweetheart, Betty Jean Sage, they relocated to Bryan in 1961. Since his early childhood, Gerald has always enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. Gerald was employed by The Texas State Highway Department for 39 years where he took pride in his work and relationships with fellow employees.

After his retirement in 1999 Gerald & Betty enjoyed many years of retirement together with his family and friends, Gerald is survived by his wife Betty Jean Nobles, one sister Bessie Anne Harville, son Kevin Scott Nobles, daughters Sharon and husband Bill Cullen, Monica and husband Richard Palasota. Gerald was blessed with four grandchildren, Richard Byron Palasota Jr. & wife Jordann, William Bradley Cullen and wife Morgan, Samuel Scott Palasota & Ashlyn Michelle Palasota, and two great grandchildren Kayla Sky Palasota and Levi Glenn Palasota.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with the rosary to follow at 7:00. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with internment to follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic School Fund.
