

Grace Lorene Wilkinson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, March 25. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan on Sunday evening from 5 – 7 PM and memorial services on Monday at 10:30 AM.
Grace was born in Grenola, KS on January 15, 1934 to Charles and Wilma Harp. She was one of eight siblings in her family. She grew up in the southeastern Kansas town of Cedar Vale and graduated from Cedar Vale High School. She married her husband, Vern Wilkinson on June 14, 1953. Grace excelled in book keeping and worked in businesses in the Wichita, KS and the Tulsa, OK areas. Grace and Vern moved to Bryan in 2001 where she began work with the Texas A&M system in AgriLife Research. She retired in 2011.
Grace made her decision to follow Christ and was baptized in 1954 and actively served the Lord till her death. She supported her husband’s ministries in Kansas and Oklahoma and dearly loved singing southern gospel with her husband.
Survivors include her husband, Vern Wilkinson; a brother, Lowell Harp in Cedar Vale, KS; a sister, Sharon Winsel in Kimberly City, MO. A daughter; Twila Runyon and husband,Ron, in Bryan; a son, Steve Wilkinson and wife, Barbara, in Ft. Thomas, KY. Four grandchildren, Charissa Stamm and husband Brett in Ft. Worth, TX; Angela Gambill and husband Derry in Thailand; Taraneh Wilkinson in Washington D.C.; and Carl Wilkinson stationed in Japan. Five great grandchildren, Wyatt and Makenzie Stamm in Ft. Worth and Landon, Emery, and Cohen Gambill in Thailand.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dee Blackmon, with the memo Grace’s House, PO Box 2722, Bryan, TX 77805. Grace’s House is a home care facility for those with dementia.
