

Johnny served in the United States Army in 1959-1960. He was an IBEW member who traveled throughout the United States and was recently recognized for over 50 years of service. Johnny was a staunch supporter of our A&M Aggies.
As a young boy, Johnny was raised up in the Trinity Baptist Church by his parents. He deeply loved his friend “Jesus” who he prayed to daily. Johnny never missed the opportunity to share with his family how truly blessed he was.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 12 years, Joan “Mimi”; sons, Johnny Ray (Tommie), Robert, Craig (Kristina) and daughters Vanessa (Mitchell), Stacy (Daryl), and his blended children, Julie (Todd), John (Louise), Joycelyn (Mark) & Tom. And his grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Brian, Robert Dale, David, Dillon, Keaton, Kelsey, Craigory, Braedon, Kayleigh, Trey, Sydney, Jackson, Michael, Matthew, Avery, John William, Alexis, Bethaney & Brady; Eighteen great-grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephews, Elaine, Donna (Ronnie), Marci Kay, Butch, Kyle and Bubba Cox (Jill).
Preceded in death are Johnny’s parents Albert Reddon and Florence (Andrus) Ward; sister, Lois Galloway (Ray); brother, Albert Morris (Bernice Faye).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 4-6pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel 1515 S. College Ave. Bryan, Texas 77801. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, February 17 at Trinity Baptist Church 1070 N Harvey Mitchell Pkwy, Bryan, TX 77803. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
