Although we love him dearly, we could not make him stay therefore Jim joined all those who preceded before him with open arms embracing the long-awaited reunion with his parents Julius L. and Judith R. Junek. Rejoicing with his five siblings, Judith Junek, Emilie Glass, Sharon Campbell, Ivo Junek and Barbra Randle. His eldest son, Julius Ludwig Junek III “Trey”, stepson, Kenneth A. Harris and a grand-daughter, Margarita Hernandez-Almaguer.
It broke our hearts to lose him, but he didn’t go alone, for a part of each of us went with Jim the day he passed away. Jim left behind his surviving loved ones until the day they meet again, his loving wife, Shirley Anne Junek of 35 years; two children daughter, Queen K Junek; son, Brenner Lee Junek; four step-children but his just the same, Trishell D. Ferrell, Valisa L. Harris, Deborah M. Harris and Daniel S. Harris (Dixie); step-son-in-law, Stuart Harris; two sisters, Jeanette Bomnskie and Juliette “Tootsie” Raabe (Mike); two brothers, James Junek (Patricia) and Michael Junek; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren along with 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Jim had a huge family that loved and supported him.
Our loss is heavens gain, we believe with that in mind our hearts can heal for we shall meet again one day. Our face may not show a smile today or tomorrow but there is love, happiness and laughter with each memory of Jim for all to share and hold dear.
