Katherine Rose “Gilmore” Gomez, 47, passed away April 22, 2016 in Bryan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 25th with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 26th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Varickamackal as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Katherine was born April 14, 1969 in Bryan, the daughter of Joe and Mary Ann Gilmore. A lifelong resident of Bryan, she was a graduate of Bryan High School and was a beautician. Katherine married John Gomez and will be remembered as a loving daughter and wife.
Survivors include her husband, John Gomez; parents, Joe and Mary Ann Gilmore of Bryan; father-in-law, Carlos Chavarria of Caldwell; sister-in-law, Pam Gideon & husband Steven; brother-in-law, Chris Gomez & wife Leslie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
