

Keith grew up in Bryan and was a 1988 graduate of Bryan High School where he played tennis. Keith continued his education at Texas A&M and Sam Houston State University before entering the US Navy in 2001. While in the Navy he continued his studies at University of Maryland. His training specialty was Information Technology, which allowed him to serve on ships at sea and military bases around the world maintaining the sophisticated computer systems used by the military. His most recent assignment was with the SPAWAR Command-Atlantic, located in New Orleans Louisiana. While in the Navy he served at military bases in Guam, San Diego, Hawaii, Japan, and Okinawa before recently transferring to New Orleans. Wherever he lived, he embraced the local culture and customs, and native foods. Playing golf on beautiful courses in Hawaii was a favorite pastime. He enjoyed all sports and especially enjoyed following Aggie sports online wherever he lived.
Keith is survived by his parents, Harold and Wanda Chilton of Bryan; his twin brother Heath of Richardson, and his brother Blake and his wife Sarah of Bryan; Nephews: Corban, Crew, and Owen Chilton; niece Eden Chilton ; grandmother, Glen Chilton of Hamilton, Texas; his uncles, Jerry Chilton of Hamilton and David Watson and his wife Gwen of Gatesville. He is also survived by his girlfriend Lamphueng Taye.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan on Thursday May 12 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Bryan. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Jonesboro Community Cemetery in Jonesboro, Texas.
