

Larry Eugene Hale, 78, of Bryan, Texas, took his last ride into the sunset on June 16, 2026. Born November 14, 1947, Larry was a man of quiet strength and devoted to his loved ones. For those who knew Larry, knew he was quite a character like no other.
He served in the National Guard and worked for many years as an ironworker, a testament to his hard-working nature and dedication to providing for his family.
Larry found joy in simple pleasures and had an adventurous spirit, particularly his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with friends, where his humor and kind heart made him easy to be around and difficult to forget.
Above all, Larry was a wonderful father, known for his devotion and generosity. His kindness, gentle manner, and unconditional love touched many hearts and will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection.
Larry is preceded in death by his beloved mother Velma Hines Manthei, and sisters Brenda Norris and Joyce Hyvl.
He is survived by his daughters Christina (husband Mario Duron), and Shawn Denise Hale; sisters Jonell Speak and Glenda Hines; niece/ sister Betty Ball; grandchildren Victoria Yanez, Isaac Lopez (wife Casey), and Adam Lopez; great grandchildren Babygirl Azaylah Lopez on the way; long time companion Gayle Wilton; stepdaughter Kari Luna, and step grandchildren Kayli Morsko and Kamryn Fulton; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A Memorial service will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 South College Avenue, Bryan, Texas 77801, on June 22, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
