Larry Mendez Sr.

Larry was born in Hearne, Texas to Lorenzo and Nicolasa Mendez. He worked for "Meals on Wheels" for 20 years; as well as, "Home Instead" for 10 years. He always enjoyed being the life of the party and bringing light to the room no matter where he was.

Larry is survived by wife, Sarah Mendez; daughter; Allysia and husband Flaviano Rodríguez; son, Larry Jr. and fiance Carley Cruz; as well as, his three granddaughters, all of College Station Larry is also survived by his siblings, Rosa Linda and Reynaldo Villalpando of Bryan, Rosemary and husband Antonio Rivera of Bryan, Lorenzo and Mary Mendez of McKinney, Monica and Jesse Duran of Bryan, Richard and Mary Mendez of Bryan, and Jesse and Sara Mendez of Bryan.

Larry Mendez will forever be missed and will always remain in our hearts. We will continue to cherish the memories we have and will keep his spirit alive. This isn’t goodbye; it is, “I’ll see you later.”

A visitation for Larry will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, Texas with the Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Santa Teresa Catholic Church, 1212 Lucky Street, Bryan.
