Laura “Busha” Grocholski, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10 at St. Joseph Manor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Msgr. Gleissner Mausoleum in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. rosary service at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Laura was born October 18, 1930 in Brenham the daughter of Willie and Sophie (Mazurkiewicz) Bilski. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and Age Managers. Laura enjoyed helping with the annual St. Joseph Festival; where she made her “famous” coleslaw.

Laura enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and going to the casinos to play the slot machines. She loved to cook; her grandsons said she made the best fried chicken, fried squash, pierogis and cabbage rolls.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kie Grocholski; sister, Barbara Twardowski; brothers, Nick Bilski, Father Harry Bilski, and Edmund Bilski.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie “Groho” and Connie Grocholski; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Lonnie Cammack; sisters, Theresa Jozwiak, Genevieve Stegent, and Gertrude Schurer; grandsons, Toby Cammack and wife Briana, Blake Cammack and wife Melissa, Garret Cammack and wife Courtney; great-grandchildren, Avery Cammack, Lea Cammack and Sean Cammack.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 507 E 26th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803 or Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W 26th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.
