

Lila Sue Neff, 77, of Bryan, entered into rest on February 9, 2010. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 12, 2010 at Northview Baptist Church, 1809 Tabor Road, Bryan, TX 77803. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.
She was born April 11, 1932 in Killeen, TX the daughter of Allen George Campbell and Nellie Moorhead Campbell. She married Paul Neff in 1953. Mrs. Neff was a member of Northview Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved reading her favorite book, the Bible. She enjoyed painting and various other crafts. While visiting with her daughter, she especially enjoyed caring for and spoiling the babies at her daughter’s daycare. Despite her physical impairments, she was cheerful and had a beautiful outlook on life because of her deep faith and love of her Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Neff was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul, a sister Edna Scribner, and a brother Marvin Campbell.
Survivors include her daughter; Deborah Reese & her husband John E. Resse, Jr.; son, Sidney A. Neff & his wife Anna; sister, Hilda Witherspoon; brother, Rev. Ray Campbell & his wife Emilie; brother-in-law, Carl Scribner; grandchildren, Joshua Neff, Lael Neff, Christin Reese; and a great grandchild, Zoey Kelley and her faithful dog and constant companion Ethel Mae.
