Louise M. Storrs

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. June 10, 2025, Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with Brother Dale Wells of Elliott Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. A private burial will take place at Elliott Cemetery later.

Louise was born May 08, 1934, in Hearne, TX, the daughter of Arthur Neil Mathews and Letha Burts Mathews. Louise was a member of Elliott Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry William Storrs; son, Jerry Jr; brothers, Neil, Thomas, Horace, Jack, and Johnny Mathews.

She worked for UToteM until she retired. Louise enjoyed NASCAR racing and playing the dulcimer. You could frequently find her shopping at garage sales looking for craft and sewing supplies, which she loved doing. She was a member of Elliott Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by her son, James Donald Storrs. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
